TenYearsGone is the sister site of zeppelinart.com and home to ASP Recursive File Utilities. These utilities provide the ability to batch manage files directly on the host server. They are the result of the enormous growth of the ZeppelinArt image database--easily over 1,000 folders and 10,000 images. Handling files one-at-a-time on the server became impossible. These utilities have saved me countless hours of work. Features: * Pure ASP scripting, no 3rd party components * Batch process directly on the host server * Small, self-contained, single script file for each function * RecurseAndDelete - delete files based on file extension or string match * RecurseAndRename - rename files based on string find and replace * RecurseAndChangeCase - Change case of files to lower, UPPER, or Proper * Fully recursive, set a start directory and go * Built-in security features include disable setting and confirmation before processing * After processing a full html report is rendered listing results * Easy to use--simply change configuration settings in the script, upload, then call from browser * Compatible with IE and Firefox (not fully tested on other browsers) * [Requirements: Windows server with classic ASP] ASP Recursive File Utilities have been adapted from an original file renaming script written by Jeremy Nevill in 2000 called RecurseAndRename.
