"Ten Years Gone" is one of Led Zeppelin's most underrated songs. It poetically describes the sadness of first love lost and musically displays Led Zeppelin's magical ability to weave balladry and power chords. The title also says something about life....who doesn't remember the better times, the more innocent times, ten years gone. The title also loosely describes Led Zeppelin's vaunted career. Here and gone in ten years (actually closer to twelve years but it seemed shorter). And finally, TenYearsGone was an early candidate when I was building ZeppelinArt in 2002, but the URL was unavailable. And, sadly, it wasn't even a Led Zeppelin site! Finally, when the URL became available it was time to "Bring It On Home".
